Tips to improve memory faster

As a student you have a lot of information to understand and memorize for your test. If you have powerful photo graphic memory your job is much easier but if however want to remember models then you face two issues first you don't remember everything you share and second it takes too much time to memorize. Here is how you can boost you memory, memorize more facts and spend less time doing this. Now there are different types of memory  such as procedural memory which is like knowing how to swing a golf club and declarative memory like being able to recite and draw of the cervical pluses for your anatomy exam and also we have the semantic memory which is a declared memory to help you get A on your examination. so basically focusing on the semantic memory,  from examine neuro-networks in sea snails to caring for amnesic patients with localized illusions, nerve scientist have learn a great deal on how the human brain works and how to squeeze the most utilities out of our hippocampi.

The Heppocampi is the centre of the brain that store long term memories. Looking back over a century ago, a psycologist studied his mind and generated what is now known as the forgetting curve, in a simplest term the forgetting curves demonstrated that after forming more memories we forget more of it as time elapses. Retrieving memory is a separate  process from storing them and these two is imperfect.  We know from the neuro science fundamentals that repetition  potentiate neuro-connections  and help us to remember information more effectively the problem is that we have fore too much information to learn so we can't repeat everything we need to know on daily basis. the following are what you are supposed to do:

 1. Enter a spacing effect and that is spacing the interval at which you repeat abstract and  the key here is that you must recall the information and  not simply recognizing it. Recall  means retrieving the important information on your own and recognition means finding a piece of information and having familiar thinking abut it. For memory purposes recall is superior to recognition this is called to be testing a fact and being able to recall everything, being able to recall everything strengthen the brain very well and the accurate spacing interval also helps very well.

2. Make a Study plan: for example Medical student are task with many information to recall in a very few time and for them to be able to do this they have to get  a reminder which will be serving as a guide for the accurate spacing study. Using this guide (like a daily time table for the subject that contains a lot) will not only help you to learn the information faster  but it will help you to retain the information for a longer period of time.

3. Take note the guide shouldn't be made for all subject that you have to learn but it has to be for those the contains a lot of information  such as biology, organic chemistry and physics. Some people generate guides on more of the subject of which some do not entail a lot but i will advise you to rather find a way of memorizing the answer to a question than re-enforcing the problems and concepts you need to learn. If you are a medical student know that you will be having a lot to do. So you better have to get  better study guide to help you ease your load .

4. After creating your study guide it should be used everyday because constant practice make you to become the best and it should always be with you whiles you are relaxing or eating so that you can easily grasp that abstract to make your brain  sharp. When this is done you will be able to complete most of your study plans before your schedule time but it isn't easy though. avoid getting behind your study guide. The more you skip your guide without learning the more your get of the track, don't set too much study guide for yourself .

5. Always make sure to be recalling and recognizing what you have learnt because that make the brain to be very strong in grabbing content.
